Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month Group Exhibition

May is Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month – a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. A rather broad term, Asian/Pacific encompasses all of the Asian continent and the Pacific islands of Melanesia (New Guinea, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji and the Solomon Islands), Micronesia (Marianas, Guam, Wake Island, Palau, Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Nauru and the Federated States of Micronesia) and Polynesia (New Zealand, Hawaiian Islands, Rotuma, Midway Islands, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu, Cook Islands, French Polynesia and Easter Island).

How to submit:

-All media accepted.

-Send jpegs, a statement, bio and any additional information to

-Submissions will be accepted from May 3, 2018.

-You will be contacted if artwork is accepted; and will be responsible to deliver your artwork to the Office of Cultural Affairs, City Hall, 280 Grove Street, Jersey City.

-The exhibition will be on display for the month of May.

-Reception date May 8, 2018, 6-8 PM.
